What do they need to
know? What are our goals? |
| |
| |
Junior High School (JHS) and Senior
High School (SHS) students need to
be placed in a class according to
their abilities. Sometimes students
join and need to be taught to read
and write if they haven’t acquired
the skills during the elementary
school years. When they are in a
class at the right level we have
three main aims for them: |
We
allow all students to practice
English communication in a
happy, open and relaxed manner. We
want kids to be able to communicate
with other people about their lives
and interests, hobbies and ideas,
and to be able to tell their own
story if they want to do so. |
| |
We help them learn the grammar and
vocabulary necessary to pass tests
at school. |
| |
Coming to class is hard if it’s
boring. So we make it very fun and
very active! If we can ignite the
internal motivation in English
language and the culture of the
English spoken countries, this
motivation will often live on and on
and fuel students through the tough
exam times. |
| |
| |
For JHS students about to enter
Senior High School, we help them
with the English they will need to
really succeed at that level.
Likewise, for SHS going on to
university we can help with the
English needed for entrance exams
and life at university. |
